Kazimir Malevich always pleased with his masterpieces all the people who were not indifferent to Suprematism. If we delve into the preface of his paintings and specifically this work of art, it is worth noting that Malevich was able to invent a special and unique theory of abstract art that was called suprematism.
The idea itself is that all the artist’s compositions made in the style of Suprematism are initially aimed at showing the emancipation of the author, from the imitative subordination of a thing, to the natural disclosure of creativity.
In the composition of Kazimir Malevich, entitled “Athletes”, all the figures executed on the canvas are completely and completely subordinate not only to the color composition, but also organized in terms of the rhythm of the whole composition, which is completely alienated from some kind of semantic load or reality of being. The picture aims to concentrate its personal energy and dynamics, which are completely outside such categories as space and time.
As for the compositional construction of the color gamut, which is used in the work, the whole composition is completely subordinate to the principles of symmetry. As for the facelessness of the "athletes" themselves, this is done for one purpose only, this is necessary in order to further highlight the global, even in a sense, cosmic representation and sense of peace, exactly to the extent that the artist himself represents him.
The picture shows the personality, not as a human being, but as a person associated with art and at the same time is completely independent neither of the individuality of the viewer, nor of the artist himself. This is the unique and inimitable style of the author.
